Our Criteria

The individual are of/or between the ages of 18-24.
The individual demonstrates symptomatology consistent with a DSM diagnosis, which can be expected to reasonably respond to therapeutic intervention.
The individual is sufficiently stable to manage within a minimally supervised 24-hour therapeutic environment.
The individual demonstrates a capacity to respond favorably to therapeutic interventions and training in areas such as problem solving, independent life skills development and medication compliance training such that independent living is a realistic goal.
The individual is able to function with some independence and participate in community-based activities for limited periods of time that are structured to develop skills for functioning outside of a controlled psychiatric environment.
The individual lacks community supports sufficient to maintain the individual in the community with treatment at a lower level.

Suicidal/assaultive destructive ideas, threats, plans, or attempts as evidenced by degree of intent, lethality of plan, means, hopelessness or impulsiveness.
Acute, behavioral, cognitive, or affective loss of control that could result in danger to self or others and cannot be controlled in this setting.
Individual willingly participating in extracurricular activity that would jeopardize the safety of other individuals within the program.
Risk of elopement that would require a level of security at a more intensive level of care.
The individual has medical conditions or impairments that need to be managed by medical professionals or would prevent beneficial utilization of services, or is not stabilized and/or compliant on medications.
The individual requires a level of structure and supervision beyond the scope of the program
The individual can be safely maintained and effectively treated at a less intensive level of care.
